The past 6 months though, I've run into a bit of a problem. This darn kid will not eat most days! He may take a bite or two, but then he'll refuse to touch his food again. Even with his favorite foods. He's been trouble.
His sister does NOT have that problem. This chick will eat just about anything you put in front of her. The only food she has straight up hated was bananas. Other than that, she's good to go. I love her. I love her so much.
One food they both enjoy is pizza. These kids, without a doubt, could live off pizza for life and be perfectly happy. The problem is, pizza is not exactly good for you. All that grease alone could plug an artery. So I needed a way for them to eat lunch without me making three different lunches.
Enter bagel pizzas!
No grease, way less fat than take-out or freezer pizza, smaller portions, and I can customize each one for all of us. Everybody wins (especially me since I'm on a bit of a diet).
What You'll Need:
Full sized bagels (wheat or white)
Whatever you like on pizza basically
How To Make Them:
Pre-heat over to 350 degrees.
Half the bagels and place them on a cookie sheet. Top with pizza sauce, cheese, and whatever else your heart desires.
Bake for 8-10 minutes. If you want to keep the bagel pretty soft, bake for less time. Crunchier crust, bake for longer.
